Reserve Your SpotThe OSS Osaka Street Food Walking Tour is a relaxed evening food walk through Shinsekai, one of Osaka's most iconic neighborhoods. Over 3.5 hours you'll visit four local eateries, enjoy three drinks along the way, and walk the same back-alleys that locals have been eating and drinking in for over a century.
Your guide will also teach you a handful of Kansai dialect phrases as you go, so you'll leave with a few real Osaka words in your pocket, ready to use on the rest of your trip.
The neon-lit alleys, the iconic tower, the local eateries. Here's what your evening looks like.
I was born and raised in Osaka, and I've spent years exploring the city's food scene, from the famous spots everyone knows to the smaller places tucked away in the back streets. Shinsekai is one of the most fun neighborhoods to eat and drink in, and I love sharing it with visitors.
"My goal is to give you a relaxed, friendly night out. Good food, good drinks, and a little bit of Osaka culture along the way."
I run these small-group tours because I think the best way to experience Osaka is slowly, at a comfortable pace, with someone who can answer your questions along the way. No rushing, no big groups, just a good evening of eating and walking together.
Four classic Osaka dishes, one stop at a time, paired with three drinks of your choice along the way.
Osaka's iconic deep-fried skewers, straight from the neighborhood where they were invented.
Crispy on the outside, molten on the inside. The Osaka street food you've been waiting to try.
Juicy pan-fried dumplings at a small local spot that regulars have been coming to for years.
Grilled offal, Nishinari-style. Smoky, salty, and exactly what you came to Osaka to eat.
3.5 hours, four food stops, one relaxed walk through Shinsekai.

Absolutely. The tour is a small shared group (max 5 total), so as a solo guest you'll be joining alongside other travelers booked for the same evening. It's a great way to meet people. If you happen to be the only booking for your date, the tour can still run at a flat $126 minimum to cover our 2-guest baseline.
